I have been a trustee for about a year now, although I have been a Carriage Driving Coach for eight years.
My favourite moment at RDA was in 2021.

The carriage driving group had just started running again after coming out of lockdown. It was decided to take two of our drivers, Pat and Andrew, to compete in the driving for the disabled classes at Royal Windsor Horse Show.
It was a perfect day - the sun was shining and Django the pony was on his best behaviour!
Our drivers did very well and were presented with their rosettes by Sophie, Countess of Wessex, who was absolutely charming.
It was such an enjoyable day for the participants and helpers, and marked a return to normality after all the Covid restrictions.
