David Hall

Chair of Cobbes Meadow

I was invited to become a trustee in September 2001 to fill a vacancy on the committee when the Group’s previous solicitor trustee retired and moved away. I was delighted to be able to contribute my skills as a lawyer to assist the development of Cobbes Meadow and the wonderful work it does for children and adults with disabilities.

I have the privilege of serving as Chair of a hard-working Committee of Trustees which ensures that the charity has a strong financial basis and achieves its objective of providing riding and carriage driving for anyone with disabilities, whether physical or mental.

Since I retired a few years ago, I have volunteered with the carriage driving team on Fridays.  I particularly enjoy seeing the pleasure and feeling of independence which the drivers obtain from steering their carriage around a course or through the nearby woods.
